Mr. Tilson is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served a tour of duty in the First Gulf war and was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, Naval Air Station, Cubi Point, Republic of the Philippines.
Tim was born at The L'anse Indian Reservation is the land base of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community of the Lake Superior Bands of Chippewa Indians (successor apparent of the L’anse and Ontonagon Bands). It is located primarily in two non-contiguous
sections on either side of the Keweenaw Bay in Baraga County in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan.
